Swizzels Fizzers Review
Posted on November 03, 2025
The Swizzels Fizzers are usually packaged in a variety pack; like the Swizzels Scrumptious Sweets pack which costs around £1.98 for around 351 grams of Swizzels sweets. These appear to have relatively stayed unchanged from their formula for at least ten, twenty or more years as I remember these exactly how they taste back then as the same as now.
Taste and Texture
These haven't really changed their formula at all in the last ten to fifteen years which is great. They taste just like they did when I was young! The smell when even grabbing the fizzers packet is immense and strong as the flavour is in the aroma. Though, the flavour when you actually bite into them or leave them in your mouth is much stronger than the aroma.
It's slightly sour as it fizzes in your mouth and this helps to offset how sweet they are and the powdery element of the tablets. The less sour colour tablets are also slightly fruity in taste and some have different profiles like a slight floral profile. However, the only issue I do find with these is that some rolls just have too much of the powder so you should open these carefully if you notice some of them are destroyed.
I also notice after eating enough of these that there is a slight creamy element to some of them; especially within the fizz. The variety is also nice too as there's around six flavours and they seem randomly assorted with each roll. I find that these are just small enough that it's a bit difficult to not reach for another roll of these.

Conclusion
Overall, I found the Swizzels Fizzers a classic that hasn't really lost its charm over the years. It has the familiar fizzy sweetness and aroma that brings back the memories of the sweet from my childhood and does have a slightly sour kick that stops them from being overly sweet. The variety of flavours adds to the fun of these and even if the powdery texture can make them a bit messy; I found that they have held up remarkably to time.
