The Seabrook Crinkle Cut Cream Cheese and Onion costs £1.38 for a pack of six crisps. They are absolutely divine and have a complex flavour profile. I find that their texture is also great as they offer a crunchy and crispy experience.

Taste and Texture

The smell from this pack of crisps isn't really permeating or spread once you open it. However, this is not reflected in the taste. After I had a single crisp from the pack it had a very strong oniony taste to it complemented with a slight tang of cheese. The flavour is really strong in these that you can literally suck on them when they're in your mouth and get more of the flavour out.

After eating a few of these I do notice a slight aftertaste to them. It's a much more stronger cheese taste despite the cheese being light at the start of the crisp. It really shines at the end with a heavily savoury and umami rich taste to it. There's also a light peppery taste to these which does occasionally appear while eating the pack. It adds a slight bit of complexity to the crisps and improves it from just being a singular flavour.

When it comes to texture; these are really crunchy and crispy. The sound that you hear when biting into them is a light snap then a heavy amount of crunching.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I found that these are a genuinely satisfying snack. Despite them having quite a muted aroma; they have an intense layered flavour which starts with an onion taste then culminates in a rich umami-packed cheesy experience is extremely impressive. Coupled with the texture; they are something that you should really not miss!
