NYCoffee Irish Coffee Review
Posted on October 16, 2025
The NYCoffee Irish Coffee costs £1.08 for around 10 sachets of the coffee. I have to say when you compare it to other brands doing similar; it is not only cheaper but has a much closer taste to Irish Coffee. It is boozy. I like that. Unlike others which are sweeter and have less of the Baileys-like taste to them.
Taste and Texture
I found that the coffee's aroma just permeates around the room when you make it and the sachet itself releases a great Irish coffee smell too! Unlike the Nescafé Irish Coffee, I find that these have a 'boozier' taste to them which is much more enjoyable (and more authentic). Though I do find that they are not as creamy and the froth on these goes away shortly after you make the drink. It tastes a bit like a Bailey's coffee but I would say that it is slightly watery so you may need to use two of the sachets when you make the drink.
Though I did notice that your first sip will always have a slightly artificial taste but it subsides within a second after drinking. It is uncomfortable but I don't mind it as the taste afterwards is genuinely amazing; especially for the price. If you want to save money on a 'special brew' you can add some extra coffee to it and creamer just to make it less weak and keep it boozy without overdoing it.
Ingredients and Nutritional Information

Conclusion
Overall, this was an extremely enjoyable coffee. It's not only cheap but it also tastes amazing even if the coffee in it is quite weak; you can just add a bit more instant coffee to fix that issue. The flavouring they use in the coffee makes it taste slightly boozy and when you compare it to other branded instant Irish coffees; I find this one being both the cheapest and one of the best.
