Morrisons Savers Granola Review
Posted on October 07, 2025
The Morrisons Savers Granola costs £2.00 and you get around a kilogram of granola. It's generally a great low budget granola option but it really doesn't have much variety to it. It could do with more dried fruit but that is easily fixed when you're making it yourself. I found it works best with yoghurt.
Taste and Texture
The granola is quite sweet and crunchy. Though I did find that there's really not many raisins so if you want dried fruit in it, you'll have to add your own. I find that dates go really well with this one. There are some small bits of almond bits but I wouldn't really say there's enough it to affect the flavour and overall mouthfeel of the granola. I also didn't really see that many sunflower seeds in this granola as I had hoped.
I found the coconut to be barely noticeable in the taste of this as well. The best thing about this granola, however, is that it is both cheap and doesn't have any additives. Some cheap granolas tend to have some preservatives inside of them but this one doesn't. Though I do find that the sugar content is quite high especially if you add your own dried fruit to it.
I didn't enjoy this as much with plant-based milks or regular milk and found that creamy yoghurt (plant-based or dairy) is best to serve this with as it adds to the complexity and experience of eating the granola. Dates and figs are best chopped up and added to it as well.

Conclusion
Generally, I found that the Morrisons Savers Granola is quite a solid choice for an affordable granola. It's just £2.00 for a kilogram and this makes it quite good value for money while being simple and without any unnecessary additives or preservatives. Though, the simplicity does make it feel limited; the lack of variety in dried fruit, nuts and seeds makes it feel plain even compared to other budget granolas.
