Kit Kat 2 Finger Dark Chocolate Bars Review
Posted on October 31, 2025
The Kit Kat 2 Finger Dark Chocolate Bars cost £2.18 for a pack of 9 Kit Kats. But I found that the quality of these is generally hit or miss. I had received two batches of these which had a bit of condensation to it which was heavily unfortunate. Though, this did not affect the taste or texture. It has a good amount of bitterness and sweetness to it.
Taste and Texture
I found that these do taste great though I believe I got unfortunate with a bad batch as these had condensation on them. Nonetheless, it doesn't seem to affect the taste or texture; it just makes it look strange. The dark chocolate has just enough bitterness to it and hasn't been sweetened much. I found it basically perfectly balanced. The crunch and snap to it are of standard Kit Kat quality. It's very crunchy and the snap is loud when you break the Kit Kat apart.
Compared to the normal milk chocolate version; this has much more complexity. The dark chocolate has more bitterness and I even noticed that it's slightly creamier. Though, to be fair, this is just the dark chocolate version of the standard Kit Kat so there's no difference other than the formulation of the chocolate (it, being dark).
However, due to the condensation, I'm not sure about the entire quality of the chocolate in these or perhaps; it occasionally happens with a batch?

Conclusion
Overall, I would say that these are a solid choice if you like a kit kat with dark chocolate which isn't too bitter or too sweet. They have the classic crisp wafer texture and the satisfying snap that Kit Kat is known for while offering a more rich and complex taste than the milk chocolate version. The only drawback really is the inconsistency in quality and the condensation issue makes them look a bit off, even if it doesn't affect flavour or texture.
