:Diablo Milk Chocolate with Almonds with Sweetener from Stevia Review
Posted on October 16, 2025
The :Diablo Milk Chocolate with Almonds with Sweetener from Stevia costs £2.30 for a single 75g chocolate bar. It is expensive which is the first off-putting part about this especially as it is not a deluxe product by all means and it does include maltitol (see ingredients) making it a lower quality less sugar alternative. The taste is not bad and the texture is quite creamy and crunchy!
Taste and Texture
The chocolate has this strange condensation around it which is strange to see after opening the pack. However, surprisingly, when I bite into the chocolate; it's not really that bad. It actually tastes a lot like chocolate albeit with a slightly weaker cocoa flavour as the aftertastes from the sweeteners weaken it. The chocolate is sufficiently creamy and has a really nice texture especially as the almonds are scattered around in small bits. It really mixes and merges together into a delicious snack!
I also found that the taste reminds me of Easter Egg chocolate or more accurately, the chocolate you get in those chocolate bunnies. However, it is easy to overeat this chocolate bar and I would suggest not to as I had dealt with really bad stomach problems from eating too much as it was really delicious! That really, along with the strange condensation, are the only bad parts of the chocolate. This had surprised me as I had previously reviewed other :Diablo products and I tend not to like them very much.
Ingredients and Nutritional Information
Ingredients: Sweeteners (Maltitol and Steviol Glycosides (0.02%)), Cocoa Butter, Whole Milk Powder, Almond (12%), Cocoa Paste, Butter, Emulsifier (Soya Lecithin), Flavouring.
Nutritional Information per portion (25g): 121 calories, 8.8g fat (4.6g saturates), 13g carbohydrates (1.6g sugars) (11g polyols), 1.8g protein, 0.03g salt.
Conclusion
This was a mixed experience as the bar did offer a surprisingly pleasant taste and had a creamy and crunchy texture which is reminiscent of a chocolate bunny; it did fall short in every other area. The price is expensive for what it offers; especially considering the inclusion of maltitol which is one of the cheapest alternative sweeteners. Then there was the odd condensation on the chocolate and the weaker cocoa flavour that detracts from this being perfect.
