:Diablo Coconut Cookies with Caramel and Peanuts Review
Posted on October 09, 2025
The :Diablo Coconut Cookies with Caramel and Peanuts costs £2.40 for around 100g. It's generally a nice surprise. They have an amazing taste to them as the coconut and peanut work so well together and they are crunchy. Though I did find that there's really no chewiness to the caramel on the inside.
Taste and Texture
These do not look like how they are portrayed on the front of the package. They instead are smoother with less peanut bits on the outside. The texture on the outside is a mix of waxy and slight grittiness which doesn't really make it great at first glance. It is crunchy on the first bite and then you're met with the quite prevalent peanut flavour. Though I notice the coconut coming through just slightly after then the maltitol aftertaste.
The coconut and the caramel aren't chewy at all and rather it just melts in your mouth. I didn't really find any crunch from the peanuts and it all comes from the biscuit base. The coconut flavour isn't bad though when you can taste it without the peanut if you just take a bite out of the non-peanut area it's really good. Though I did notice that the biscuit base wasn't the best when you isolate it as it's slightly stale.
The sweetness is not intense which is great and avoids making this an overpowering treat. Though it isn't entirely free of sugars due to the peanut and flour inside of the product. So do be aware of that when buying this and that maltitol is not the best artificial sweetener for sugar free alternatives.

Conclusion
Generally, I would recommend these much higher than their previous peanut cookie. The coconut and peanut work surprisingly well together and they are not overpoweringly sweet and something that you can just enjoy fully. Though, I wouldn't suggest more than one due to the effects of maltitol on your gut as it is a laxative.
