Plenish Enriched Oat Milk Review

Posted on September 20, 2025

The Plenish Enriched Oat Milk costs £2.35 (it is a plant-based milk alternative drink) and is honestly not bad at all. It's convenient; has much more minerals (calcium) and vitamins inside too. Though you won't be getting anything that is barista quality due to the cleanness of the ingredients.

Taste and Texture

The oat milk isn't creamy at all but it is not a barista oat milk so that is to be expected but it is nonetheless quite smooth in texture. It has a slightly sweet taste to it but isn't overly sweet like some oat milks can be on the market. The taste is clean and simple; it isn't repulsing or bad at all and is quite mild and oaty.

This oat milk will not combine well when you add it to hot drinks so I would avoid doing that and you should get a barista plant-based milk for that purpose. It does taste quite nice and is refreshing chilled, iced on its own or with coffee syrup.

Since it is fortified you are getting more calcium and minerals (see the ingredients section) than other oat milks which makes it better. It also doesn't have any additives to it or preservatives bar from chicory root fibre. The chicory root just increases the fibre in the drink and doesn't really do much otherwise.

Though the oat milk is quite expensive if you compare it to Lidl's oat milk or other cheap supermarket versions. You can also make your own oat milk to save much more money as it would be almost the same as this one has no additives or preservatives; making it at home would do avoid those too.

Ingredients and Nutritional Information

Conclusion

Generally, Plenish Enriched Oat Milk is a good quality option if you want a simple fortified plant-based drink without all of the additives or preservatives. Though it does fall short of barista-style creaminess (which it's good; because barista-style usually has a lot of additives). It makes up for the clean taste, smooth texture and just not being too sweet. Though the price is on the higher side especially when compared to more budget options or making your own oat milk. Overall, it's just a refreshing and convenient choice. Best chilled or drank on its own (or with syrups).
