Lidl Mister Choc Peanut and Choco Bars Review

The Lidl Mister Choc Peanut and Choco Bars costs £1.29 and is an absolutely amazing pick. You get six from them and they literally taste almost like the Snickers bar but slightly sweeter. I really couldn't tell the difference between the two so you're saving quite big money with these!

Taste and Texture

Wow, these are just like a snickers bar. I don't really see much of a difference at all though they are just slightly sweeter and a stronger flavour. The peanuts on the inside are well distributed and there's a lot of creaminess, crunchiness and nuttiness. They are much more intense in peanut flavour than the snickers too.

The outside of the bar; the chocolate coating; is super soft which then translates into a change when you meet the peanut layer that adds onto the texture with its crunch. It is a solid bite but not hard.

Though after getting through half a bar; the sweetness gets to be too much and you have to wait before eating the rest. However, the chewiness (as the softness and crunchiness contribute to this) makes eating the bar quite enjoyable and it's perfect with coffee as the bitterness counteracts the sweet heaviness of the bar.

Conclusion

The Lidl Mister Choc Peanut and Choco Bars are an amazing pick and are the fraction of the price of Snickers. It has a blend of creamy chocolate, crunchy peanuts and a chewy texture that I find makes them satisfying and indulgent. Though I do find the sweetness to be quite overwhelming if you eat it all in one go.
