Lidl Conde Noble Rose Wine Review

Posted on September 12, 2025

The Lidl Conde Noble Rose Wine costs £3.49 and is a dry rose wine made in Spain. It has a cherry bark scent to it which has a raspberry and cherry complementation. There's freshness to it but the flavour is simple and doesn't linger or have any aftertaste to it. It's quite clean.

Aroma and Taste

The aroma doesn't travel far though that's expected of a cheap wine. The smell when up close has a slight cherry bark scent that is complemented with raspberry, cherry and grape. It has a freshness that's inviting but also slightly rustic as well. I don't find there to be much complexity to the wine.

The flavour is quite similar to the aroma; I find that the raspberry and cherry notes dominate while the earthiness of the bark slightly adds to the palate. It is slightly sharp with a bit of acidity to it. I find the tannins to not be strong but the texture is quite strong.

I don't find that it has much of an aftertaste; there's no lingering taste to this wine. The taste and flavour dissipate just slightly after the first sip. It's a simple wine; not complex.

I find that the wine works well with a light meal or salad; something not heavy as the wine itself is simple.

Conclusion

Overall, I found the Lidl Conde Noble Rosé as a very affordable, straightforward and refreshingly uncomplicated wine. It has a clean, berry-driven flavour profile and has subtle earthy hints to it. It's easy to enjoy without much thought though it does lack depth or a lingering finish. It's not a wine that is impressive but it is cheap and gives honest value for money. It's a budget wine.
