The Lidl Cien Cocoa Butter Body Lotion costs £1.25 and you get around 500ml of product. It's amazing value for money as it doesn't use as much per pump as other body lotions due to its viscosity and thickness. It generally feels more like a body butter than a lotion though.

Performance and Efficacy

Well, this might be one of the best body lotions I've ever used. It's more like a body butter than a lotion! It's super thick and viscous which makes it feel more like the Garance body butter I used. Though this does mean it takes forever to get out of the bottle so I suggest emptying it into another container where it's easier to use.

The aroma of the body lotion is also amazingly pleasant. It smells just like cocoa butter and there's no artificial scent to it either. After using it on my skin it absorbs quite fast despite being quite thick so you do have to run it in a bit but it does feel like you're rubbing the skin rather than rubbing it into the skin due to that. There's no greasy or sticky feeling after using it though.

Due to how thick it is, it does mean you use less and it runs out a lot slower when compared to other body lotions. Incidentally, this ends up helping you save money compared to other choices. It also moisturises for quite a while but you will have to reapply it after a day.

The Cien Cocoa Butter Body Lotion is an amazing body moisturiser. It helps to moisturise really dry skin and delivers the richness and performance of a body butter while being super affordable. The formula's thickness means that you end up using less product each time you apply it and it makes it last longer than other lotions.
