Eva Naturals BHA Skin Refining Liquid Exfoliant Review
Posted on September 19, 2025
Eva Naturals BHA Skin Refining Liquid Exfoliant costs $18.99 and comes in a small 4-ounce bottle. Unfortunately, the product is instantly a bad sign as it contains alcohol in its ingredients. Alcohol can cause your skin to get drier and harms your skin's protective surface. So, it is clear this is not a product you want at all on your skin long-term. But nonetheless, I went ahead and reviewed it in a 7-day trial to see the results.
Ingredients: Water, Propanediol, Salicylic Acid, Sodium Polyacrylate, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Carnellia Oleifera (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Glycerin, Polysorbate-20, Carbomer, Butylene Glycol, Alcohol, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Tetrasodium EDTA.
Day 1-2
This is the first day of using the exfoliant. I have noticed that it does take a bit of dirt from my face away when using it with the cotton pad. Here you can notice that my face has a large pimple next to my nose which I am using in this review to see if it gets less inflamed while using the product.
My face has a lot of acne scars as well so I am curious to see whether this product helps to reduce them a bit.
Day 3-4
Around these two days, I noticed the nose acne getting slightly bigger and looking as though it's about to pop around this time. It's not gotten less inflamed and in fact I feel as though this product has helped to inflame it as it is slightly drying.
Day 5-6
The acne on the side of my nose is slightly smaller than before but that's only because it had popped after using the product. My cheek, as you can see slightly in the photograph, has gotten slightly red and irritated from the product. I have a few newer smaller bumps which did go away on the sixth day but it's really not comfortable noticing them suddenly appear when trying the product out for the week.
Day 7
At the end of using this product for a whole week; I have found that it does… absolutely nothing! My face really hasn't changed much; the acne just next to my nose has not disappeared at all (it only popped and came back) and I've generally experienced a slightly more irritated face. I notice that my face got slightly greasier easily while using this product which I suspect is from the use of alcohol drying my face then my face responding by producing more sebum.
Overall, the product is generally disappointing and the alcohol inside of it will end up making your face drier over time. I don't suggest using this. Oh, the acne scars stayed the same with this product. No change in anything, disappointing.
