Aldi Snackrite Cheese Cheezios Review

The Aldi Snackrite Cheese Cheezios cost £2.49 in a 24-pack multipack. They're very disappointing and don't have a great taste at all. They taste like salt with a tint of cheese added to it but that's because they don't have much flavouring on them to begin with. Then they just don't have enough crunchiness to them at all either.

Taste and Texture

Perhaps it's just the batch but these just didn't have much taste to them. The pack has whiffs of artificial cheesiness but it just isn't reflected in the taste at all. When I started eating these, I just tasted a slight powdery cheese taste which instantly got overpowered by the corn.

I also found that these just don't have as great a texture as other cheese puff snack. It's less crunchy and airier. They melt in your mouth way too fast before the flavour even gets the chance to develop. The only taste that does linger is the salt they use and even then, it just sets it up for disappointment.

The only good thing with this pack is that you get quite a bit of them but what's the point if they don't even taste good. You have to eat a lot of these to even taste the flavour at all. Then, again, it's just the saltiness and none of the cheesiness that you taste when you've finished the pack.

Conclusion

Overall, the Aldi Snackrite Cheese Cheezios are just downright awful. They have a lack of any flavour and an unsatisfying texture. Instead of being a rich, cheesy punch they just have salt with a bit of cheese. It's too airy and fast-melting which leaves little room for the taste to develop. The quantity might be the only redeeming feature but when the quality is bad then it's still poor value.
