Aldi Snackrite Bacon Sizzles Review
Posted on September 06, 2025
The Aldi Snackrite Bacon Sizzles are disappointing crisps which cost £2.69 in a 24-pack multipack. They do have a bacon flavour to them but it's an incredibly weak flavour along with how big they are makes them quite crunchy and thus you have to chew it more.
Taste and Texture
The taste is not as strong as I was hoping. It has a strong start with the flavour but it doesn't last long enough. After putting it in your mouth the flavour just dissipates like it wasn't there just for the corn base to overpower it. It's not that there's inconsistency inside of the pack itself as it seems like all of them have this issue.
With what flavour is there, it is quite nice. It is a bacon flavour but it's not bold at all. The texture of these is very crunchy as they are quite thick. The aroma of the pack is nice but it doesn't reflect the flavour at all. It's got a pleasant smoky smell to it but this isn't in the taste at all.
They don't really compete well with the Bacon Sizzles apart from being cheaper. So, I really don't see the point in buying these unless you get the multipack with other Snackrite crisps in it. These are really only good if you need something to snack on and have nothing else.
Ingredients and Nutritional Information

Conclusion
Overall, Aldi Snackrite Bacon Sizzles are just downright disappointing. They are quite cheap but nonetheless have a weak and short-lived bacon flavour. The smoky aroma is very misleading and the thick crunchy texture only makes the issues more evident as once the flavour is gone its just corn. It's generally just a cheap filler snack.
