FUEL10K Cookies & Cream High Protein Breakfast Shake Review
Posted on May 2, 2025
We got these FUEL10K Cookies and Cream High Protein Breakfast Shakes for £0.63 each through the food clearance site Low Price Foods. The protein shake has exactly 25 grammes of protein which is perfect and doesn’t taste bad either. However, do be warned, as the protein shake does contain sucralose (or also known as Splenda) which is an artificial sweetener if you’re trying to avoid those.
The taste of the shake is a very feint cream taste and doesn’t have any of the awful taste you find when taking the protein shake without anything to mask the taste of protein powders. The shake isn’t thick either and has a great consistency which goes down well. It is quite sweet though so I find myself watering it down slightly to get it down faster as I don’t like overly sweet drinks.

Calculation-wise per 100 grammes of protein, if you’re buying this product through Low Price Foods as of 02/05/2025 you should expect to pay £2.50 per 100g of protein. Which does make this less of a saving if you had made the shake yourself with whey protein as a quick search on eBay finds per 1kg of protein to be £12.95 (£1.23~ per 100g) compared to this product being £25 per kg. Basically, you’re not really saving much money with the product.
Overall, though, if you’re looking for a product that you don’t need to make and can just pick up in the morning for pre-workout then it’s great and convenient. Though you would save much more money by making it yourself.
